Norm resides in Springboro, OH with his wife, Angie, and their three children: Connor, Catie, and Chase. A standout athlete, Norm was a four-year letterman and team captain for the University of Dayton Flyers basketball program from 1986 to 1991. He was a two-time recipient of the John L. Macbeth Scholar-Athlete Award and played in the 1990 NCAA Tournament after winning the MCC Championship over Xavier. Norm still holds the record for most 3-pointers made (9) and attempted (17) in a single game for Dayton and ranks second all-time in 3-point shooting accuracy (43.1%) for his career, with 208 career 3-pointers. He is a proud member of both the Butler County Sports Hall of Fame and the Hamilton City Schools Athletic Hall of Fame.
