Ellen Scheeler, MSBA

Ellie was born in Boston and raised in an Army family and spent her entire school-aged life moving across the US and Europe. She has lived everywhere from AZ to KS, Germany to Belgium. She graduated with her BA in Latin from Mount St. Mary's College and her MSBA from Boston University Brussels.
Ellie’s first career was working with the US Military Intelligence community, first at NATO HQ and SHAPE HQ in Belgium for 5 years before relocating back to the US and working at DIA and other locations in the DC Metropolitan area.
In 2018, Rick and Ellie lost their 18-year-old daughter Mary when she was struck by a car while riding her bicycle. Mary, who had Downs Syndrome, was known for her joy and making people feel loved. The pain of this loss will be with them forever, but they are committed to using it to help others. They give thanks to God for the strength to endure this devastating loss and are grateful for their Catholic faith. Through their strong faith, they are committed to service and charity and making a positive impact in the community.
She and Rick were married in 1997 and currently reside in Mason, OH. Their oldest is a University of Dayton graduate and a 2LT in the USAF. They have a sophomore studying at Grand Canyon University majoring in Marketing and Communications, as well as a senior and sophomore in HS, and their bookend boy in 4th grade.
She has been working in Scheeler Financial since 2006 and helps in all areas of the practice. She is Life and Health licensed and is the Director of Special Operations. She coordinates highly technical projects and provides client support for investments and insurance, rollovers & transfers, as well as contribution questions & money movement. She is versed in all aspects of the business and specializes in the care and attention deserved by each and every client.
